郑夙茗 一位在书法与音乐中探索美学的践行者
郑夙茗自幼便与书画结下不解之缘。九岁初执毛笔，从柳公权起步，继而研习颜真卿，又于《曹全碑》《乙瑛碑》中汲取隶书韵味。十余年的笔墨耕耘为她奠定了深厚的传统功底。近期，她潜心溯源而上，研习甲骨文与篆书（大篆、小篆）的古老韵味，并在王羲之、褚遂良、欧阳询、赵孟頫、等历代大家的法帖中往复求索，深化对书法流变的领悟。
她勤奋自学，却始终遵循“取法乎上”的传统，在古人的法帖中寻源问道。
职业生涯始于设计，曾就读于南洋艺术学院商业设计系，主修插画，并创立广告设计公司。
而后，源于对吉他的热爱，她重返南洋艺术学院攻读音乐演奏，主修古典吉他，并最终创立了自己的音乐学校心乐坊 Xin Yue Music Studio，专注于吉他、尤克里里与声乐教学。
如今，在音符与笔墨之间，她找到了艺术的双重归宿。书法，于她而言，是音乐之外的另一种语言——是喧嚣世界中回归内心的宁静与归属。
Sumin Tee — A Practitioner Exploring Aesthetics through Calligraphy and Music
Sumin founded Xin Yue Music Studio, specialising in guitar, ukulele, and vocal instruction in 2020.
Her professional journey began in design. She studied Commercial Design with a major in Illustration at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), and later founded her own design company Media Zone. Her passion for the guitar eventually led her back to NAFA to pursue a Diploma in Music Performance, majoring in Classical Guitar.
Sumin has been deeply connected with the arts of calligraphy and painting since childhood. At the age of 9, she began her calligraphic journey by studying the style of Liu Gongquan, later delving into the works of Yan Zhenqing, Cao Quan Stele and Yi Ying Stele in her study of clerical script. More than a decade of diligent practice laid a solid foundation in traditional calligraphy.
In recent years, she is exploring the charm of Oracle Bone Script and Seal Script (both Large and Small). Immersing herself in the masterpieces of Wang Xizhi, Chu Suiliang, Zhao Mengfu and Ou Yangxun, she continues to deepen her understanding of the evolution and spirit of Chinese calligraphy.
Sumin adheres firmly to the classical principle of “learning from the masters”, seeking guidance and inspiration from the works of the ancients.
Between the flowing lines of ink and the resonance of music, Sumin finds her artistic balance. To her, calligraphy is another form of language—beyond music—one that leads her inward toward tranquility, mindfulness, and the pure rhythm of life.
