Regina Lim Xuan Hui (Vocal)

Regina Lim Xuan Hui is a vocal instructor and musician with a strong foundation in vocal performance, musicianship, and music education. She graduated from Singapore Polytechnic with a Diploma in Sound and Music, specialising in music production, arrangement, composition, transcription, and performance. Her musical journey spans more than a decade, beginning with choir participation in primary school and continuing through secondary and tertiary education.

Regina completed the Music Elective Programme (MEP) at Tanjong Katong Girls’ School, where she received advanced training in music theory, harmony, analysis, composition, and piano performance. Following the completion of ABRSM Grade 8 Piano, she attained the Associate of the Royal Schools of Music (ARSM) Diploma in Piano Performance, demonstrating a high level of technical proficiency and musical artistry.

As a vocalist, Regina has extensive experience in choir and vocal ensemble performance. She was actively involved in choir throughout her primary and secondary school years before joining Singapore Polytechnic Vocal Talents, where she further developed her skills in contemporary vocal performance and acapella singing. She also served as the Soprano Section Leader of the Tanjong Katong Girls’ School Choir, mentoring fellow singers and helping them develop vocal technique, musicianship, and performance confidence. Her strong musical foundation is supported by perfect pitch, advanced sight-singing and sight-reading abilities, excellent aural skills, and a deep understanding of vocal harmony and musical interpretation.

Regina has received recognition for her vocal achievements. In 2025, she was awarded a Gold Award at the Global Arts Festival, competing against 84 participants. In 2023, she advanced to the semi-finals of the Xinyao Competition, placing in the Top 8 out of 60 contestants.

Passionate about nurturing singers of all ages and abilities, Regina believes in creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment. She focuses on developing healthy vocal technique, musical expression, confidence, and overall musicianship, helping students build both technical skills and a lifelong appreciation for music.
